Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation Expert to support our team in managing infrastructure, streamlining workflows, and leading the deployment of applications. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, and automation tools. As an Automation Expert, you will collaborate with senior engineers, developers, and QA teams to implement best practices in infrastructure-as-code, system monitoring, and workflow automation, while driving real-world projects that enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Support in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Learn to set up and maintain containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Help monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve basic infrastructure and application issues.
Contribute to automation by writing simple scripts (Bash, Python, etc.).
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand deployment workflows.
Gain exposure to infrastructure security, scalability, and reliability practices.
Work with mentors on infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Participate in initiatives to optimize infrastructure costs.
Skills and Experience
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and an interest in learning orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Interest in exploring infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Beginner-level skills in scripting languages (Shell, Python, or similar).
Awareness of logging and monitoring practices (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack is a plus).
Curiosity to learn DevOps security best practices.
Strong problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and willingness to collaborate in a team environment.
