Position Overview

The SEO Executive is responsible for managing and executing SEO strategies that improve website visibility and rankings.This role focuses on on-page, off-page, and technical SEO efforts to drive organic traffic and optimize website performance.The SEO Executive collaborates with the content and technical teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied across the website.

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Page SEO Optimization:

Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies on content, meta tags, and headings.

Optimize website structure for improved search engine crawling and indexing.

Monitor and optimize the content for keyword density, internal linking, and content performance.

2. Off-Page SEO & Link Building:

Execute and manage link-building campaigns to improve domain authority.

Establish relationships with relevant influencers and websites for backlinks.

Analyze the quality and effectiveness of acquired backlinks.

3. Technical SEO:

Conduct SEO audits to identify technical issues affecting website performance (e.g., page speed, mobile optimization, crawlability).

Collaborate with the development team to implement necessary technical fixes.
Ensure schema markup, structured data, and website indexing are correctly set up.

4. Content Strategy & Optimization:

Assist in content creation and optimization by providing keyword suggestions.

Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and is optimized for search engines.
Measure content performance and suggest adjustments to improve rankings.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Monitor organic traffic, rankings, and SEO KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.

Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance based on reports.
Keep stakeholders updated with regular performance reports.

6. Competitor Analysis & Strategy Enhancement:

Track and analyze competitors’ SEO strategies to find new opportunities.

Adjust SEO strategies based on competitive insights and industry trends.

7. SEO Campaign Execution:

Plan and execute SEO campaigns targeting key audiences across different channels.

Adapt strategies to suit specific needs such as local, e-commerce, or international SEO.

8. Cross-Team Collaboration:

Work with content, marketing, and technical teams to align SEO strategies across all channels.

Provide SEO recommendations to other departments to ensure best practices are being followed.

Skills and Experience

1. Technical Skills:

Proficient in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
Knowledge of SEO best practices, HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.

Understanding of website crawling, indexing, and server-side issues.

2. Analytical Skills:

Strong ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and draw actionable insights.
Experience with reporting tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

3. Content Skills:

Strong content optimization skills, including knowledge of keyword research and content strategy.
Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, etc.

4. Communication & Collaboration:

Strong communication skills to explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical teams.
Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively across teams (marketing, content, development).

5. Experience:

2-3 years of hands-on experience in SEO and digital marketing.
Experience in executing SEO campaigns and achieving measurable results in organic search rankings.

Knowledge of current SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

6. Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred):

Experience with e-commerce SEO, local SEO, or international SEO.
Familiarity with tools like Screaming Frog, Majestic, or similar advanced SEO platforms.

Basic understanding of paid search (PPC) strategies and how they relate to SEO efforts.
